So, day one has passed. Everything feels as it did before school ended last semester, which is a good thing. I didn't like the uncertainty of summer, even though I worked a steady job and all. All the pieces are coming together.
I'm not exactly pleased with some of the changes. The C-Wing isn't as it once was, and a number of friends have moved farther from campus. I've discovered that I love cycling though, so visiting these off-campus punks shouldn't be a problem. Beyond that? I'm ok. The floor and building are different, but there's a good energy to this.
I opened a fortune cookie a few minutes prior to writing this, that I had neglected to open last night with my dinner. Inside were three pieces of advice, on three slips of fortune paper: "Struggle as hard as you can for whatever you believe in", "Idleness is the holiday of fools", and "Where there is will, there is way". Even though the placing of these are just the result of a machine's error, it's interesting for me to receive them right now. I will say to the huddled masses that I assume read this, that there is only one person who may know why this is so.
I live next to a grad student. How odd is that, in an undergrad dorm like WG? Wonder how she'll like me as a neighbor once I get the speakers set back up...
And this weekend is the Kung Fu seminar at VA Beach. Should be interesting, what with PSP's meeting on Sunday, new assignments from these classes of mine, Theta Tau website stuff to handle, work to do for CSI... it's all piling on. Time management, ahoy!
And that's why I'm not asleep. Stress? More like challenge. Peace fags.
